“I have an 8 year old son who is diagnosed with Autism and we have experienced many therapists, behaviorists, and teachers throughout our journey. Kristy Asral, by far, has been the most influential behaviorist/advocate we have worked with thus far. She is extremely caring, loving, knowledgeable, professional, and dedicated. She is the bridge that connects school and home; and is the person who completes my son's team. My son has had a tremendous growth developmentally, behavioral, and independently, over the past few years, and I truly accredit his success to the guidance that Kristy provided. She has a very unique and special way of tapping into my son's world and helps bring him into our world. Kristy has not only helped my son in many ways, she has also mentored me and been a genuine advocate for my son. She has helped me to build independence within my son, and that alone is truly a huge piece to the puzzle of autism. She truly puts her heart into her job and it shines through all of the progress. Our family considers our experience with Kristy Asral a blessing and we are truly thankful and appreciative of all of her dedication and hard work. We would highly recommend her services to everyone!” SF

"I wanted to write a letter of thanks for all the help Kristy has given us over the past two years. One of the biggest challenges facing parents of children with behavioral issues is working with the schools to create a cohesive treatment program which will help the child utilize appropriate behaviors so they can grow socially with his/her peers in the school environment and be more capable of focusing in school.
With Kristy's help we have been able to identify the issues our son had at school. Some behavior techniques the school had worked, some did not. Even though some teachers are willing to work with you in creating a treatment program at school, reinforcing those concepts at home can be challenging. Having Kristy observe our son at school, outside social activities and then at home helped us create a consistent treatment program for him.
Kristy's ideas and insight have been invaluable during IEP and ESY meetings. Participating in those meetings where decisions will be made, affecting placement and educational opportunities, can be very overwhelming for a parent. The school has so many people on their side of the table, who are often inclined to offer a more generic treatment program . It is great to have Kristy on our side, since she has taken the time to understand our sons needs and what resources are available that could assist him.
I would highly recommend Kristy to anyone looking for a consultant to collaborate treatment between home and school. " KM
“Our son was diagnosed with Autism at an early age. Kristy has been instrumental in supporting us with his progress. She's always been dedicated to helping him learn and grow by addressing his areas of need and utilizing his strengths to incorporate them into his daily routine. She helps us focus on the important issues at home and at school which assists in furthering his development. The best thing about working with Kristy is knowing you have an advocate who is intelligent, knowledgeable and compassionate toward your child. It's wonderful to have someone to talk to who really understands what were going through and always steers us in the right direction. We have received a great amount of support from Kristy and that has helped us help our son.” TC
"As a special educator myself, I alone, could not have received the accommodations and support necessary to allow my daughter to be as successful as she can be. The time you took to review her past IEP, the 504 Plan the district developed, and all of her past testing, along with your classroom observation, created a new IEP and specific accommodations that are essential to our daughter's success in school. The compassion, knowledge and support we received during this stressful process was overwhelming. We will undoubtedly utilize Asral Behavioral Consulting again in the future. Our educational experience has only just begun!" SH
"Kristy Asral has been an incredibly valuable resource for our family! Years ago, we started services with a different agency for behavior consulting and cancelled them due to the lack of value they were providing. We found Kristy and she has been an integral part of our team for the last 3 years. Her knowledge is deep and her creativity in deriving solutions and providing new ideas is remarkable. Just when I think I’ve hit the end of my rope and don’t know what else to try, Kristy throws out a couple of ideas that make me think, “Hmmm, why didn’t I think of that? That’s good….” She makes herself available via phone, email, or in person whenever I feel like I am in crisis! Her input to our school based program has also been invaluable. She has attended meetings with us and has helped us steer those meetings to peaceful resolution. She is excellent with providing ideas, resources, and programs for carryover from home to school and vice versa. Together we’ve established goals for our son, and we have made tremendous progress in attaining those. She has coached me to be a better mother in the challenges faced with a child with special needs. I highly recommend Kristy and her services if you are looking for an intelligent, creative and professional resource!" DS
