Services

I help parents navigate the special education process and collaborate between parents and school districts to create individualized education plans to meet the unique needs of their child. I can also provide similar programming in the home.

Consulting Rates/Service Options:

Option A: Monthly Email Package

Ask up to ten questions via email regarding your child's learning or behavioral issues and get general answers/recommendations via email each month.

Option B: Open Service Contract

Provides open ended contract for services to cover the home and school collaboration (see service areas) from contract start until we agree services can pause/end. Begins after FREE 1 hour consultation.

Option C: Outline

Provide one hour records review (most current educational records) and written outline of suggestions/strategies for how to work with home/school issues. Services completed after outline provided.

-collaborating with parents and school districts to enhance/create appropriate Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), Behavior Intervention Plans ( BIPs) or 504 plans

-enhancing the communication between home and school

-meeting attendance

-classroom placement decisions

-extended school year (ESY) determinations

-promoting purposeful and meaningful inclusion in the general education setting

-providing home programming/carry over from school programming and supporting progress

-conducting classroom observations to evaluate social, educational, behavioral struggles

-writing meaningful letters

-providing resources

-reviewing records and providing advice and recommendations
